The Military Relocation Professional Certification Course educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support. To earn the MRP certification, REALTORS® must complete a few basic requirements: 1. Be in good standing with NAR; 2. Complete the one-day MRP certification course; 3. He carried his teaching methods out of the military and soon became a USSF certified referee instructor. As a REALTOR® Mark holds his ABR and SFR designations and teaches pre-licensing classes and other professional development classes as well as being a certified Fair Housing, REALTOR® Code of Ethics and RSA instructor. Mark, a graduate of the US Naval Academy, is a retired Naval Officer and 25 year career REALTOR®. Experienced in the classroom, he started his teaching career an instructor in the Navy and followed on as an instructor and mentor for soccer referees. Over the last 15 years he has been a licensed real estate instructor teaching pre-licensing, CE/PLE classes and NAR certifications and designations. Mark’s philosophy in education is to be participatory in nature and that classroom engagement by students allows for both a better learning environment and an opportunity to be a student himself.
