This course provides an overview of how contracts are negotiated, ratified and enforced. It covers specific terms of the NVAR Residential Sales Contract and explores in details the different parts of what makes a contract for the sale of real estate.

Formation of a contract; what constitutes a counter-offer v. acceptance of a contract; the differences between contingencies and covenants; breach and enforce-ability are discussed at length.
This course will benefit the real estate salesperson and broker professionally because it explains some of the most overlooked parts of the real estate transaction, namely what makes a contract. It informs the real estate salesperson and broker of issues that must be addressed with both the seller and the buyer and helps both salespersons and brokers understand how to navigate these statutory requirements.
