This is a 45 hour broker pre-license course for those individuals currently with a real estate salesperson's license who are seeking to obtain a broker's license. This course satisfies 45 hours of the 180 hour educational requirement for a broker's license. - Course meets on Mondays from 8:30am - 4:30pm and will meet for 6 sessions:

This is a highly interactive 45 hour broker pre-license course of lecture, class discussion and group project.Students will form groups and create a real estate firm from the ground up then present their project to the class at the end of the course. Lectures will be on the following topics along with several quizzes;Leadership, Management Skills, Communications and Decision Making, Analyzing the Business Environment, Analyzing the Market, Developing a Plan, Structuring the Organization, Business Systems, Finances, Business Policies and Procedures, Marketing and Advertising, Practical and Legal Realities of staffing, Recruiting, Professional Competency, Coaching and Training, Critiquing operations, Managing Risk

Mark Worrilow

Mark began his career as an instructor while serving in the Navy teaching courses both in leadership and warfare subjects. He carried his teaching methods out of the military and soon became a USSF certified referee instructor. As a REALTOR® Mark holds his ABR and SFR designations and teaches pre-licensing classes and other professional development classes as well as being a certified Fair Housing, REALTOR® Code of Ethics and RSA instructor.  

Mark, a graduate of the US Naval Academy, is a retired Naval Officer and 25 year career REALTOR®. Experienced in the classroom, he started his teaching career an instructor in the Navy and followed on as an instructor and mentor for soccer referees. Over the last 15 years he has been a licensed real estate instructor teaching pre-licensing, CE/PLE classes and NAR certifications and designations. Mark’s philosophy in education is to be participatory in nature and that classroom engagement by students allows for both a better learning environment and an opportunity to be a student himself.
