This course is intended to give background information on a variety of environmental issues to homeowners. It is designed to be an effective tool for agents who need a guide to detect environmental issues in residential properties and to assist purchasers in discovering significant problems in houses before they move into their new home.

Students will be able to identify and understand a variety of Environmental issue area affecting the basic elements of a house including:

Foundation, Floors, Walls, Roofs, Garages, Swimming Pools, Spas, Irrigation Systems, and Wells & Septic Systems

This course uses the Dearborn book: “Environmental Issues In Your Real Estate Practice” handbook as the student workbook and reference guide.

Reeve, Keith

Keith Reeve is a graduate of the Professional Home Inspectors Institute located in Falls Church, Virginia. Keith is an affiliate member of the Virginia Association of Real estate Inspectors. He has over 15 years of hands-on experience in home repair and has been involved real estate property management and property repairs for over 15 years. He also brings with him 8 years of US Army Service experiences to the industry. Keith has been the Sales Manager for HomePro Services, Inc since 1998 and has managed the scheduling and coordination of over 45,000 home inspections. Keith is also a Training manager for Home Inspectors through Training Learning Certification Inc. Field Training Program. Keith is a Certified Radon Technician and member of the National Environmental Health Association. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Agent with active memberships in the National Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, Prince William Association of Realtors and Dulles Area Association of Realtors.
