In an ever changing real estate industry, it is paramount for a real estate licensee to stay abreast of not only the current market conditions and trends, but legal issues and laws governing our industry as well. Our focus of this 1 hour update is designed to cover a wide variety of legal aspects of:

-Real estate industry
-Current license laws of the state
-Consumer and association disclosure acts and
-Current legal issues and trends facing our industry today

While it should be pointed out and made clear to a licensee that they can never give legal advise to consumers unless they are licensed to do so, understanding the laws will help the licensee as they assist a consumer to navigate through the complexities of today’s real estate transaction.

Sarah has been with the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS since 2007 managing the legal department.  She insured that it become an essential part of the organization by acting as a business partner to the different lines of business within the association.


In 2018 she started her own law firm of S&T Law Group, PLLC where she manages the real estate practice.  She represents brokerages and associations as outside counsel.  She is a well know instructor/speaker regionally and nationally.
