Our focus of this 1 hour update is designed to cover a wide variety of legal aspects of the real estate industry. Current license laws of the state, consumer and association disclosure acts and current legal issues and trends facing our industry today will be discussed.

At the conclusion of this course, students will have been updated on the key laws and legal issues facing our industry today. Knowing what our current laws and issued are and how they apply to their everyday real estate activities will benefit not only the licensee but the consumer as well.

Charles Fincher
Charles Fincher is an attorney who currently maintains law and settlement offices in Leesburg, Middleburg and Gainesville.

After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College and from law school at the College of William & Mary, Charles was a partner with Turner Parks & Herring practicing in areas of land use, corporations, contract, domestic relations, criminal and real estate law. For over 25 years, he has owned a real estate title and settlement company in Leesburg.

Charles has been involved with many community organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Dulles Area Association of Realtors, the Leesburg Economic Development Commission, Leadership Loudoun, Loudoun Technical and Education Foundation, Leesburg Daybreak Rotary, Boy Scouts and other community and religious organizations.

Cancellations & cancellation requests for paid education will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. three business days preceding each class and a full refund will be issued.

Cancellations after the deadline will incur a $5 processing fee with the exception of Designation/Certification and Specialty courses.  Designation/Certification, and Specialty courses will be refunded 50% of the registration fee.

No Shows will forfeit class registration fee.
