Appraiser-led research from Virginia shows that buyers are willing to pay a 5% premium for these homes because they value low energy bills and they are increasingly interested in efficient equipment, smart devices, and features that create healthy indoor air. However, without proper marketing, the typically invisible features that offer those benefits go unnoticed and undervalued.
